Paypal Philippines 101: How To Get Verified Using Union Bank EON Card

There are basically two ways to get verified in Paypal Philippines. First is using a credit card which we will tackle later on, and the other is through the use of a debit card. We’ll talk about the latter on this post.

Four (4) Things You Should Know About Union Bank EON.

  1. CyberAccount. This is Union Bank’s internet-based deposit account. It allows you to do all your banking deals in a click of a mouse.
  1. Visa Debit Card. Unlike credit cards where you need a bunch of requirements and certain annual earning just to get signed up, EON only requires a couple of government issued IDs, an annual charge of P350.00, and an initial deposit of P200.00 (amount is optional).
  1. No minimum balance to maintain!
  1. The only debit card in the Philippines that functions as a credit card when connected to Paypal. Some PH debit cards have limited functionalities when connected to Paypal. You can perform outgoing tasks like forward remittances, pay bills or shop online but you cannot fully enjoy incoming transactions such as receipt of payments. With Union Bank EON debit card, you can provide home-based service to any local office space employers in the Philippines or abroad and accept compensation just by telling your email address. You can then withdraw the payout from any of your bank accounts so it’s absolutely hassle-free!
